We’ve partnered with professional party planner and paper crafter Thuy Bui from the blog Hey Thuy to bring you a fun twist on traditional Valentine’s Day festivities.
Valentine’s Day is one of my most favorite holidays! I love seeing all of the craft items I buy in shades of red and pink, some even with sparkly hearts! I have always wanted to host a Girls’ Valentine’s Day Crafternoon, and I knew Tuesday Morning would have all the supplies needed to pull it together. I love shopping at Tuesday Morning for my paper craft supplies. They carry all the top brands I love, like Pebbles and Crate Paper, for half the price that you would normally pay if you bought them from your local craft store.
I love these craft markers by American Crafts. I picked them up for just $6.99 (compare at $14.99).
I snagged a set of over 120 yards of premium ribbon for $7.99 (compare at $24.00), which is an amazing deal! I’ll use these for various craft projects and for gift-giving, too.
I wanted to do a fun yet simple project with my gal pals, so I picked up these mini albums from Pebbles that were $3.99 (compare at $9.99).
I also picked up several different embellishments we could use in our mini photo albums that were all $1.99 or under (compare at $3.99).
After I picked out all my craft supplies for our crafternoon, I needed to pick up a few serving supplies for the treats and drinks I planned to serve during our party. I love that I’m able to pick up party supplies from the Martha Stewart line at Tuesday Morning for less than half the original cost. These Martha Stewart treat boxes were the perfect item to use as a party favor for each guest, and they were a steal for $2.99 a box (compare at $15.00).
I also picked up some Martha Stewart highball glasses for $3.99 for a set of four cups (compare at $12.00).
Pretty cake stands were a must-have for my crafternoon, and I was able to grab two matching ones in different sizes for a fraction of the original prices.
I love the size and shape of this adorable pitcher! It would be perfect for serving ice water or lemonade.
To gather all my supplies for the party, I picked up this cute collapsible tote to hold everything. And when I am done, it folds up for easy storage.
The mini photo albums were such a fun project to create and would make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for a loved one or even a friend. There isn’t a right or wrong way to create your album. I simply took some of my favorite photos and placed one on each page, then used all the stickers, ribbons and embellishments to jazz up my album.
Hosting a Valentine’s crafternoon for your gal pals doesn’t have to break the bank! Shopping at Tuesday Morning will help you be the hostess with the mostess on a very friendly budget.
