March is Craft Month

Happy Craft Month, ladies and gents!

If you didn’t already know, March is craft month! All month long, we’ll be providing fun craft ideas here on the blog. Tuesday Morning carries a variety of craft supplies for anyone who is looking to scrapbook, crochet or simply create. The Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) started a movement called Cre8time that encourages people to reclaim time doing the things you love – like crafting!

Tuesday Morning really wanted to kick off craft month in a fun way, so we partnered with craft expert Vanessa – the Crafty Gemini –to show you some of the amazing craft supplies you can pick up at you local Tuesday Morning. Vanessa loves to quilt, sew, craft, cook and garden, which comes in very handy on her farm! Vanessa lives in a small town outside Gainesville, Fla., with her husband and two adorable kids. She actually first learned about Tuesday Morning from her mother-in-law.

“To tell you the truth, I had no idea what Tuesday Morning was until my mother-in-law suggested I check it out last year. I could not believe my eyes when I walked in. They have everything! I did ALL my Christmas shopping in the one store. Everything from wooden educational toys for my kids to home decor items and books, etc. The prices are great, and it’s like a secret that more people should know about.”

A few of the fantastic craft items she hauled home from Tuesday Morning are sewing machine needles, stackable ink pads and a magnetic wrist pin cushion.Watch the video below to check out all of the other great #TMtreasures Crafty Gemini found, and this month, make time to do a little crafting!

Did anyone else purchase a patio set from China in either February or March and it was missing pieces? Unfortunately, I was in the process of moving and didn’t want to put it together til I got here. It was missing several pieces and I don’t know how to remedy this situation. Does anyone have advice for me?
