Last-Minute Gifts for Everyone

Hello again, friends! In case you missed it, it’s the most stressful wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is here, and I think that maybe, just maybe, I’m almost ready for it. But even though I’ve made my lists and checked them twice, there’s inevitably something I will have forgotten to get.

So I recently made a quick trip to Tuesday Morning just to pick up some last-minute gifts. I didn’t have anyone or anything in mind—I simply wanted to find gifts that I could keep on hand to ward off those panicked, “Oh, no!” moments. And of course, I found plenty of great gift-worthy products at my favorite store, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Gifts for Coffee Lovers

My days are fueled with coffee lately. Between the rush of the holidays and the chilly weather, nothing beats a cup of really great coffee—and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way! So I picked up a few coffee-themed things that would make a nice gift basket for a fellow coffee aficionado:

  • A bag of specialty flavored ground coffee
  • A trio of sugar-free flavored syrups
  • A retro-inspired coffee canister
  • A package of gourmet biscotti

Can you believe that I got all of that for less than $20? That’s a budget gift that doesn’t feel skimpy at all. There’s so much more to choose from at Tuesday Morning for coffee and tea-lovers, though. I also spied these great giftables, all at Tuesday Morning’s low prices:

  • Keurig machines
  • Gourmet K-cups
  • Specialty teas
  • Lots of decorative mugs
  • Packaged gift sets from Twinings of London, some with teapots or mugs
  • Electric kettles

Gifts for the Hostess

I don’t always want to show up to a party with a bottle of wine, but it’s nice to give a little something to help your favorite hostess (or host!) entertain with ease. For less than $30, I found the perfect collection of items to gift a friend who loves to entertain:

  • A set of festive holiday kitchen towels
  • A red ceramic baking dish
  • A jar of gourmet raspberry-chipotle pepper jelly
  • A package of gourmet appetizer crackers

All the hostess needs to do is add Brie cheese to the baking dish, pop it in the oven until it’s warm and gooey, pour some of that spicy-sweet jelly on the top, and open up the package of crackers—and voila! An instant appetizer in a pretty serving dish.

Some other hostess gifts that I spotted at Tuesday Morning were:

  • Waterford crystal barware
  • Pretty trays, serving platters, and wooden cheese boards
  • Decorative paper napkins
  • Gift sets of gourmet seasonings and sauces
  • Scented candles in decorative jars/votives
  • Decorative guest soaps from Italy and France

Gifts for the Spa Lover

I think we could all use a little extra TLC during the busy holiday season. It’s just so hard to justify taking the time to treat ourselves, but small gifts of spa and beauty-related items can serve as a great reminder (or excuse!) to step away from the hustle and bustle and unwind a bit.

I love browsing the bath and body aisle at Tuesday Morning. On this trip, I picked up several items that would be perfectly fine to gift individually, but put together make a very thoughtful “spa day at home” gift basket under $40 for someone truly in need of some pampering:

  • A 5-piece set of lavender bath and body products
  • A lavender aromatherapy eye pillow
  • Herbal face masks
  • Warm, fluffy slippers

And let’s not forget that the gents need a little pampering, too! I found plenty of ideas for the guys:

  • Men’s robes and slippers
  • Electric razors
  • Body care sets for men
  • Aromatherapy neck wraps

More Last-Minute Gift Inspiration

Just walk up and down the aisles at Tuesday Morning and you’ll find plenty of ideas for last-minute gifts for everyone on your list, like:

  • Gourmet goodies (cookies, chocolates, candies, and more) for neighbors and coworkers
  • Earbuds, headphones, and smartphone cases for tech-savvy teens and tweens
  • Decorative notepads and notecards for stationery lovers or teachers
  • Toys and games for the kids/grandkids/nieces and nephews…
  • The list goes on and on!

I left Tuesday Morning with a stockpile of last-minute gifts for friends, family, teachers, and coworkers. Still not sure what to get? Visit our Gifts for Everyone Pinterest board for even more ideas.

My favorite Tuesday Morning department: Do I have to choose just one? Craft section and seasonal accents.

A little about me: I’m the gal who always has a project (or two or three!) going on, whether it’s crafting for fun, DIY home decor or even a little remodeling. I do everything but cook! I’m obsessed with great design, old houses, fabulous wallpaper, sushi and hoarding craft supplies — not necessarily in that order.

What I love to write about: I love sharing my favorite craft and home décor ideas on the Tuesday Morning blog … it doesn’t matter what kind of project I’m working on, I know I can find the perfect thing for it at my home Tuesday Morning!
