We asked our blog experts what gifts they’d recommend, and as usual, they’ve come up with some creative gift ideas!
Gifts for the Crafter
By Vanessa from Crafty Gemini
Crafters can never have too many supplies in their stash! Whether it be fabric, yarn, scrapbooking paper or stamps, the bigger the collection, the happier we are as creative people. It can be stressful trying to figure out exactly what to buy for a crafter of any kind. Here’s my advice: Keep it simple. Instead of trying to find an item they don’t already have, consider buying them more of the essentials. Things like scissors, pins, knitting needles and (of course!) craft storage options are always well received. Tuesday Morning carries more than enough crafting essentials to make your shopping experience a breeze and save you money. So, do what I do and take the cash you saved and buy yourself a little something for your stash!
Gifts for the Home Décor Maven
By Lindsay from Whimsy Girl Designs
A great gift idea for the design lover in your life is a cozy throw blanket. Tuesday Morning has a large selection including several different colors, different patterns and prices starting at just $14.99. For the winter season, my favorite is this faux fur, quilted version I found at Tuesday Morning! The price cannot be beat at just $19.99, compared with $49.99 at other retailers. I love the fact that it can be used in any room of the house, adds texture to a space and is functional throughout the year! Cozy up with it on your couch, style it over the top of a chair or use it for an extra layer on a bed. The decorator in me also thought of what a great tree skirt it would make … we are always thinking outside the box! And just for fun, here is a cute idea: Roll the throw blanket up, put a pretty ribbon around it and attach a note that says “Just settled down for a long winter’s nap” … and you are done! Not only will the design lover appreciate this gift, but it would be perfect for just about anyone on your list!
Gifts for the Pet Lover
By Paris from Dogtipper.com
We all know the joy of snuggling down in bed during the winter months — and our pets share that same feeling when it comes to their own beds. Whether you’re traveling with your pets this holiday or staying home, a plush pet bed or crate mat (Aspen Pet crate mats, $4.99, compared with $19.99 in other stores) makes a great way to give your pet his own special place to enjoy while you’re busy with holiday preparations. Not only is one great for lazy catnaps and evening snuggles, but a bed or mat also makes a wonderful travel item if you’ll be traveling with your pets this season. The scent of home combined with the plush covering helps calm cats and dogs in the car, in the hotel room, or at Grandma’s house.
Gifts for the Creative

Nothing makes the heart of a creative person go pitter-patter like new craft supplies. Whether you are stuffing a stocking, putting together a gift basket or looking for a white elephant gift, the craft aisle at Tuesday Morning has the holiday shopper covered. Load up the knitter in your life with some funky yarn and different needle sizes. The easiest way to make a paper goods person happy is through stickers, fancy pens and paper punches. Aspiring artists can be gifted with canvases, brushes, paints and even easels. Don’t forget the little creatives in your life. The toy aisle is brimming with fun kits to encourage sewing, jewelry making, scrapbooking and more. The next best thing to giving a handmade gift is giving someone else the ability to make something handmade for themselves.
Hopefully, these ideas helped to bring guidance to your holiday shopping! Good luck!
