How To Create A Beverage Station For Backyard Entertaining

We partnered with Rebekah of A Blissful Nest. See how she used Tuesday Morning finds to create an outdoor beverage station that’s perfect for spring and summer entertaining!

Summer is right around the corner, and spring is officially here and in full swing. If you are like me, then we are starting to use our backyard space a lot more. I am getting our back patio refreshed for the season and pulling out my favorite entertaining pieces to use for weekend get-togethers with our friends and family.

I recently converted our gardening bench into a beverage station, perfect for spring and summer entertaining, and I am absolutely in love with all the on-trend pieces at Tuesday Morning right now!

One of my favorite things to do is have a designated spot with a variety of drinks that can be mixed together by our guests. With a few essential pieces from Tuesday Morning, your beverage station can be stylish and functional!

Include the following variety of drinks and items:

  • Infused Water with Lemon/Lime
  • Sweet Tea
  • Lemonade
  • Sparkling Water
  • Soda
  • Bucket of Ice
  • A Variety of Fruit
  • White/Red Wine (optional)

I love these carafes and glass pitchers I found! They have a summer feel to them with the straw detailing, and the glass pitcher can be used any time of year. I also added this cute chalkboard sign above to announce to guests the options being served.

I used matching glasses with the straw detail to pull my décor together. The glasses pop right out of the straw sleeve so you can easily wash them later. Stylish and functional is such a bonus for me!

These tiered, galvanized stands are so popular right now, especially with the farmhouse décor trend. You can use them in a kitchen to hold fruit or in a guest bathroom to hold towels and other essentials. I displayed this for fresh fruit on our drink station so they can be cut up when needed. I hung white cheese board platters on the back of the garden stand to use to cut the fruit.

I like to have stylish, fun accessories to go with everything and add a pop to my décor. I found these adorable striped straws and napkins to coordinate with the fruit I served. They really made all the colors pop!

I found THE cutest galvanized bucket and decided to use it as an ice bucket. I love that it is small, and the rope detail gives it the perfect rustic touch.

I have these huge long shelves on the bottom of my gardening stand and found these amazing straw baskets to go perfectly underneath to hold the soda cans. I love how they are light weight and have handles on the sides to pull them out easily.

I love the spring and summer months for spending time in the backyard! Tuesday Morning has amazing décor that is perfect for your outdoor parties. For more ideas on backyard entertaining and décor ideas, pop over and check out Tuesday Morning’s Pinterest board “Backyard Entertaining.”

A little about me: I am a native Californian but moved to Dallas 3 years ago. I absolutely love living in the South but still miss seeing the beach every day. I love going junking on the weekends with friends and am constantly reinventing the rooms in my home. I love moving pieces around that I already own to create a new look! My days are full with my design clients, running A Blissful Nest and being a soccer mom on the weekends. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What I love to write about: I love writing about design tips and how to get a designer look with not a whole lot of effort. I love mixing unusual color combinations with unique pattern mixes. Everyone deserves a blissful home with their own personal signature touch!

Hi Clare! Rebekah’s gardening bench is not from our store, but you can find lots of other unique tables and furniture at your nearest location.

Tsk-tsk Tuesday Morning! I also wanted to know more about the gardening table in the staged photo. It seems reasonable that “inspiration” ideas submitted should use Tuesday Morning merchandise, esp. this time, as the piece of furniture shown as a drink station isn’t vintage or an antique. If you’re dressing your family heirloom table, OK. What do you think??

Hi Nancy! The glasses and pitcher are from Tuesday Morning. Since merchandise varies by location, you may want to give your local store a call before visiting to check on availability. You can find the phone number of your store by entering your zip code, here: Thanks!
